At Coastal Dog Training, we specialize in behavior modification and basic obedience training. Our professional trainers provide private 1-on-1 in- home sessions, allowing us to work closely with you and your dog. We also offer group classes to help your dog with structured socialization. Whether you're dealing with aggression, anxiety, or just want to improve your dog's manners, our training programs are designed to meet your specific needs.

Meet Our Owner Anthony
Hey guys, my name is Anthony Manning and I am the founder and trainer at Coastal Dog Training. My interest in dog training started 8 years ago when I adopted my German Shepherd, Ghillie. I moved back home to Pittsburgh, PA when I got out of the Army in 2016. One year later I started working with dogs full time. I trained with Vinnie from ‘Say It Once Dog Training’ in Pittsburgh until 2022 when I moved to Nashville to open the Nashville Branch. I have since decided to step out on my own in my new home city of Charleston, SC!
I specializes in behavior modification and basic obedience training. I do in home training sessions so I can work with you and your dog in an environment they are comfortable in. You then have the opportunity for group classes that will be hosted all over Charleston and will focus on allowing your dog to coexist without interactions. I look forward to working with you and your dog.

Fill out the contact form. We will reach out to you with a few more questions about you and your dog’s training goals. At that time we will discuss pricing and scheduling options. If you choose to move forward with the training, a schedule convenient to you will be set and a conformation text will be sent!
We offer private 1on1 in home dog training working with you and your dog in the environment they are comfortable in. We will work on building a relationship with you and your dog and start building the foundation through clear communication and structure. After completing in home training, you and your dog can attend our group training classes to work on structured socialization.
We accept Cash/Check/Card or Tap to pay. Payment is due at the end of each training session.
The initial session is 2 hours long. You will have a 1 hour follow up session 1-3 weeks after the initial (will be discussed at the end of the first training session). Further training sessions will be discussed and scheduled to meet you and your dog’s training goals.
